Would you say you’re more of a wine and dine or a root and scoot kind of guy?
My mum taught me how to cook so I like cooking a nice meal for a potential man, and relaxing with a nice movie and light snacks.
Is there a difference between the kind of guy you’d like for a one night stand, compared to a guy you’d like to go out with?
The one night stand guy would either be a guy that is interesting but I share no connection with, or some who lacks the emotional connection but has sexual chemistry. The type of guy I tend to date would be a guy that loves my cooking, loves more than just my body and is interested in a deeper connection with me.
What's something unusual that you find attractive in guys?
I'm attracted to the oddball – the guy that doesn’t quite fit with everyone else. Also, strange facial expressions and little quirks are a turn on.
Would you consider yourself a prude?
No I wouldn’t. But, I wouldn’t consider myself a slut either. I’m open to seeing someone but I’m not going to shut the door on someone who is interesting because I’ve met my quota for the month. You never know, he could be the one.
Who is your celebrity crush?
It would have to be Orlando Bloom – he’s just too sweet.
Is there a woman you would go straight for?
Lady Gaga – but I’d have to beat every other gay man to her I guess.
Where in life would you like to be in five years time?
I don’t plan that far in advance, but I would like to do something creative - hence why I’m planning to go to UNITEC next year.
Can you tell us a bit about your coming out experience?
I was drinking with my friends before my 21st birthday and we played truth or dare. Somebody asked me, and I told them. I told my mum straight after.

Bad Romance (Lady Gaga), 1-2-3 (Britney Spears), Vanilla Twilight (Owl City), I Can Transform Yah (Chris Brown, Lil Wayne), Satisfaction (Rolling Stones). It changes every week though.
