I was watching a US news channel last year as they interviewed this African-American guy in his early 40s. They asked him for comment on how they thought the riots and uprising around gay marriage had been reminiscent of the civil rights movement. The man's response is one that always inspires a glare from me worthy of Sasha Fierce: "I don't really think you can compare the two, because black people didn't choose to be black."

hey, everyone. the true answer is ‘ IF WE CHOSE TO BE GAY, SO THEY CHOSE TO BE HETERO’. Make sense, doesnt it???
