This weekend Auckland hosts it's first Big Gay Day Street Party at Bedford Square, a fun Easter Sunday event orientated for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and heterosexual communities.
The line-up for the day includes New Zealand band Ardijah, Buckwheat, Steven Oates, Polly Petrie, Cindy of Samoa, popular DJ’s and many others. There’ll also be food stalls, competitions, the Ladyfix Dance Marquee, a big foam bouncy castle, licenced bar area and more!
See the Bro Online Boys and the Manu Dolls out in force, handing out condom packs and promoting safe sex to all of the punters.
The Big Gay Day starts at 12.00pm noon and runs through to 10.30. The party will then carry on at Family bar till the wee hours of the morning. Entry is $15, with $10 from each ticket sold going to Body Positive.
